At a glance: This policy explains the information used for our Shopify-powered store, customer requests, cookies, the Google map, and available privacy choices.

Who is responsible

modernzero, operated by LAKECREST 58 TRADING LLC, handles information for its retail operations and customer service. Shopify hosts the store and provides commerce services. Shopify also processes some information for its own services under the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy; requests about that processing can be directed through the Shopify Privacy Portal.

Information, sources, and purposes

Order and contact information: names, email addresses, phone numbers, billing and delivery addresses, items, order history, and communications supplied through checkout or support, used for orders, shipping, returns, refunds, and responding to requests.
Payment and transaction information: payment-related and transaction details processed through Shopify and the payment providers shown at checkout, used to handle payment, refunds, and fraud prevention. Do not send complete card numbers, CVV codes, passwords, or security codes to our support email.
Device and usage information: IP addresses, browser and device details, identifiers, and interactions collected through the store and platform technologies, used to deliver the site, maintain carts and sessions, protect security, and understand platform operation.
Request information: details you provide for customer-service or privacy requests, including information reasonably needed to verify a request when applicable, used to respond and maintain required records.

Sources include you, your browser or device, Shopify, payment and delivery services, and service providers involved in the relevant transaction. We also use information to comply with applicable obligations and address fraud, disputes, and lawful requests.

Cookies and similar technologies

Purposes and limits of the controls

Necessary technologies support the cart, session, checkout, security, and privacy choices. Preference technologies can remember settings or choices. Shopify can process device and usage information for its services, including measurement and improvement, under its own notices. Uses that qualify as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable U.S. privacy laws are subject to the choices described below.

The store does not currently display a separate cookie-preference banner. The existing Your Privacy Choices page is a data-sharing opt-out route, not a complete cookie-category preference panel. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser; restricting necessary cookies can affect store functions. Viewing this policy or using the site is not described as consent to nonessential cookies or personalized advertising.

Google map

Pages containing our embedded correspondence-address map connect your browser to Google. Google may receive your IP address and browser, device, or other technical information. Opening an external Google Maps link also connects to Google. Review Google’s Privacy Policy for its handling. The map identifies the correspondence address and does not represent a walk-in shop or an automatic return location.

Disclosure and Shopify

We disclose relevant information to Shopify and providers supporting hosting, checkout and payments, delivery, customer support, security, and other services needed for the transaction or request. Information may also be disclosed as required by law, to protect rights and security, in response to your directions, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable protections.

Shopify’s own services may involve personalization, measurement, or advertising as described in its Consumer Privacy Policy. Applicable laws can treat certain data disclosures as “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising even when no money is exchanged. Use the opt-out routes below for those uses.

Your U.S. privacy rights and choices

Depending on your residence, the law’s applicability, and the request, you may have rights to access or know personal information, receive a portable copy, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. You may exercise applicable rights without unlawful discrimination.

Submit a request or opt out

Email support@modernzero.com with your request, or use Your Privacy Choices for the available data-sharing opt-out process. Where applicable law requires recognition of opt-out preference signals, Global Privacy Control (GPC) is treated as an opt-out signal for the relevant browser or device through the store’s supported privacy controls. An account-level choice can depend on the information and options supplied in the privacy-choice process.

Verification and authorized agents

For requests such as access, correction, or deletion, we may need reasonable information to verify identity and protect the correct person’s data. An authorized agent may submit a request; where permitted, we may seek proof of authority and appropriate verification. We do not impose identity verification on every opt-out request; information needed to identify the data or apply the choice is handled according to applicable law.

Response periods and appeals

We respond within the periods required by the law applicable to the request. Where the CCPA applies, we acknowledge requests to know, correct, or delete within 10 business days and provide a substantive response within 45 calendar days; an additional 45 days may be used where allowed, with notice and an explanation. CCPA sale/sharing opt-outs are processed as soon as feasible and within 15 business days. These deadlines are not applied as a single rule to every request or jurisdiction.

If we decline a request, you can ask for the reason or appeal by emailing support@modernzero.com with “Privacy appeal” and the details of the decision. We will review and respond under the applicable requirements. You may also contact the relevant state privacy regulator or attorney general.

Retention, security, and processing locations

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the order, customer service, records, legal obligations, security, or dispute, subject to applicable requirements. Information can be processed in countries other than where you live through Shopify and service providers. Appropriate protections depend on the processing and applicable law. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.

Children and policy updates

Our retail services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not intentionally request their personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information can contact us to request review and deletion as applicable. We may update this policy to reflect store practices or applicable requirements; the update date appears above.
